24 Hours In Paris

Typhanie from Cuillere a Absinthe takes us around her neighbourhood of Montmartre in Paris, showing us the best spots for vintage shopping, where to eat great guacamole and a famous singer’s former home.

Abbesses metro station / 11am
I´m starting my city stroll at the Wall of Je T’aime in the park in front of Abbesses tube station.

Le Depanneur / 12.30pm

Le Depanneur is the best place to eat tortillas and guacamole or a burger. It’s technically located in the 9ème hood, not Monmartre, but it’s too good not to mention!

Dalida´s House / 2pm

The home of Italian singer and actress Dalida once ranked as one of the six most popular singers in the world. Despite worldwide fame, Dalida had a troubled personal life which led her to commit suicide at the age of 54. Dalida´s House is a great way to cherish the memory of this groundbreaking singer.

ChineMachine Paris / 4pm

I love the tiny streets of Montmartre, and all their hidden details. I could spend every day photographing them! ChineMachine Paris is my favorite vintage boutique – I´m regularly getting lost here!

Chez Plumeau / 8pm

My favourite restaurant Chez Plumeau is set aside the tourist hot spot Place du Tertre. It’s a beautiful setting and the lights in the trees outside create a magical atmosphere. It was the first place I ate at when I celebrated moving into my Parisian flat and my new life – so it will always be special to me.
